PalmReader
  by Peanut Press
  A free document reader program that can view ebooks published by peanutpress.com and docs. PalmReader, previously named Peanut Reader, was recently bought by Palm. A nice feature of PalmReader for PocketPC is it takes advantage of ClearType. Discovery Ministry's summary of each topic in the Essentials for Spiritual Growth Series, Personal Time with God cards and other ebooks are in this format.

PocketBible

  The Bible on Pocket PC. Navigate to any verse quickly and easily. Find all occurances of any word in seconds. Set bookmarks for your favorite verses. Install two or more translations and compare passages easily. New Unger's Bible Dictionary, New Unger's Bible Handbook, and Nave's Topical Bible are also available. Translations available are NIV, NLT, NAS, NRSV, NKJV, and KJV.

BibleReader

  Another Bible on Pocket PC. It has many of the same features as PocketBible, although the files are not as small and navigating and searching take slightly longer. The advantage is the BibleReader Program is free as well as numerous translations such as the ASV and the KJV. Olive Tree has done a great job of providing the Bible in other languages, many of which are free. Translations for purchase are NASB, NASB with Strong's Numbers and Hebrew/Greek Dictionaries, NRSV, NKJV, NET, CEV, TEV, and the Bible in other languages.

Memorize!

DailyReader

  DailyReader lets you read and track your progress through books that are organized into daily readings, such as devotionals, inspirational books, and "through-the-Bible" reading programs. The program presents a new reading every day and keeps track of what you've read. Books available are By Faith Alone, A Daily Dose of the American Dream, Experiencing God, The One Year Chronological Bible, and Streams in the Desert.
Cost: DailyReader is $13 and most books are $10 each.

HanDBase

  HanDBase is very good database application. You can create your own database that meets your need, manage information, and share data with others. HanDBase is also available on the Palm OS and all HanDBase databases are cross-platform compatible so you can download and share any database. It also comes with a free desktop companion. HanDBase Plus comes with HanDBase ActiveSync Conduit for Windows which enables you to synchronize your databases between your Pocket PC and Windows desktop versions of HanDBase.
